Of course it might not be Czech, but most pieces that are, including those shown in Mark Hill's book, are decorated with an abstract design of some sort. Pieces shown in his book are all Borske Sklo, so this may well be from another, undocumented source - or at least a source I haven't seen. With this floral decoration, it seems untypical of the more recent abstract designs and so I'm wondering it this one might date to some time in the 1950's - and there is quite a reasonably amount of wear on the base. So if there is an expert on enamelled and gilded mid C20 Czech flower vases lurking out there

..........by the way, is it real gold, or just a gold coloured paint.? and yes, there is a rolled up cream coloured sheet of paper inside the vase to help with the photography. As always, thanks for looking.
