Pamela, I am so enjoying these catalogues, thank you! Can I ask for two lines to be translated please?
Both have gone through the online translator but the result doesn't make sense, so I've typed them out to ask here:
höheren Unterteil geliefert werden (Freetran gives higher lower part delivered become whilst Google translator gives Higher body be delivered (this for an alternative powder bowl so presumably two heights available?)
Nur in hell lieferbar! (Freetran gives Only in brightly available! whilst Google translator gives Only in Hell! ::) I'm guessing this means only available in clear glass, or only available in Carnival glass? If someone could clarify I'd be most grateful, thank you. 8)

I do not know, to which page exactly you refer, but it must be something like a two part centrepiece? Sometimes the base could also serve, upside down, as vase.
hell: You are right: it means clear white, Brockwitz did not supply coloured pseudo-cut crystal, but they offered it with yellow accents (gelb eingebr.) eingebrannt - see pages 1 and 2.

Anne, still did not find the page you are referring to, but read your post more thoroughly :)
They offered 'Puderdosen' - powder bowls or boxes and they offered something we do not know today:
Pasta-dosen - teethcleaning powder
is it this what you wanted to know?

Pamela, thank you. The higher lower bit was in respect of a powder pot (puderdosen) which is why I wondered if it meant two heights of pot but with the same size/shape lid.
Pasta-dosen - tooth powder - ahhh good, thank you. The English in the catalogue says pomade pot which I had assumed referred to hair pomade.
The hell again was in the trinket sets - it gives four colours on most (rosé, seegrün, luftblau, goldgelb which I'd translated as pink, green, blue, amber - would that be correct?) and the hell for others which I was thinking was probably clear (colourless) glass - but did wonder if it could refer to Carnival being fiery!
