Hi
Can some one please tell me if this Davidson or Walther, cloud glass bowl i know its from the 30s and am leaning to Davidson,  took a look on cloud glass .com but could not find this colour, when held up to the light it seems yellow but amber when siting on my table or are they one and the same, in these bowls,

Steve — It's not cloud glass, but an amber post-war example of Bagley's 3061 Equinox pattern, launched in 1938.   It is the smallest of the three sizes, 4", 5" and huge, and was sold both separately and as a three-piece flower set with matching flower block and black plinth.

Steve — Browsing around eBay yesterday, prior to this query, I happened to notice both a flower block and a plinth for this bowl being sold separately.   The correct plinth has an undulating base.   I can't recall whether they were described accurately.   Obviously you would have to check size and colour match for yourself.

But please be careful.   Sometimes it can be cheaper to buy a complete set for the spares rather than buy them individually, especially on eBay, where you have to factor in p&p and other considerations.

This is the frosted version. These can be found in green, pink and blue, frosted and unfrosted. People often confuse cloud with frosted. There is also the cupped in version! See here for yummy cloud glass and you'll know the difference. It's a great site for other Davidson glass too because they made many designs in many colours and many of them in cloud

... and clear flint (scarce), and jetique (black), and polkadot jetique ...

Cupped is 3061C.   Huge 3061C is a table lamp.
