Help to identify these glasses....William Walker?
« on: December 30, 2020, 11:04:23 AM »
Hello all, this is my first post and I知 hoping someone may be able to help me to identify my glasses. I have a set of 6 of each and I have loved them for many years, they are to me the most wonderful thing I own.
Unfortunately one has been broken so I thought I would seek advice from those who I am sure know far more than I go regarding the maker. I read the signature as William Walker but I am happy to be advised otherwise?
I would dearly love to have the broken glass repaired or find a replacement, is this even possible?!
Thank you so much in advance for any advice offered, Amy

Hello and welcome. :)
William Walker is actually a member here, although he doesn't post terribly often.
I've just done a board search for his name for you. In this link, you will find links to every post than mentions his name. The only way you will get a replacment is to ask him to make another for you, and he's really nice, I wouldn't worry about asking at all.

Hi Sue,
Thank you so much, that is so helpful of you. I知 not sure if my photos attached or were visible? ( sorry I知 not ever so good with technology!) but having looked at other pieces I知 fairly confident I知 on the right track regarding the maker. Thank you again, Amy

no, your pics were not there.
We have a whole section of "help to post images" stuff and help with various other things too.

https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/board,22.0.html

You just need to find the section that tells you how to operate the systems you have.

Failing that, you can send the images to one of us and we'll do it for you.
I would volunteer, but I can't do anything with this new windoze 10, sorry.
(I'm a total technosaurus.  ::) )
If we get to that point and nobody else replies here, I will find and send somebody to sort it.  ;D
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Hi Anne,
Thank you so much for your kind offer of assistance. I have tried numerous ways of resizing and adding the images but no success so your help would be most appreciated. I have sent you an email.
Best wishes, Amy
