Uranium #glass Vase American??
« on: June 04, 2008, 11:43:13 AM »
Got this vase at an market in New York last year. It seems to have so much Uranium in it that it virtually glows in the light ;D.
It is about 11 inches tall, the bottom glass is crackled, & the top is clear. The 4 photos i have put on here are under Normal light, the UV ones should follow shortly.

Unless it is marked, I doubt you will ever find out who made it, unless the maker chimes in here and said he/she made it.  It is a simple form and a simple process to make crackle glass.  It could have been made by any glass company or even a one-person glass studio shop that had access to vaseline opalescent cullet.
