beautiful pressed glass bowl
« on: June 15, 2008, 04:18:56 PM »
Just picked up this lovely bowl. I've trawled through the usual sites, Pamela's and some others and haven't managed to identify it. Thought Czech as I always seem to when I don't know but now I'm thinking possibly French. Unusual greyish blue, satin except for rim. The detail on the flowers whcih look like pansies to me is really nice. Forgot to measure it but it is large, probably 26cms+ across. I'm sure someone will come up with some good ideas.  Many thanks, Gill
