Topic: vase with etched flowers ? any info please

Little bud vase that looks brown but is an aubergene(cant spell it) colour in the light incased in a clear glass,it has a flower pattern cut around the base and has alot of age wear to bottom and bottom of vase is highly polished -could anyone help to what this is ,thankyou

The vase looks like it could be Caithness, but that particular engraving has me wondering

This engraving looks alot more simple than the few caithness ones ive seen ,it does have stalks and leaves right near the base i had a prob picturing .
