What would these Stuart dishes have been used for?
« on: July 06, 2008, 12:18:01 PM »
I have two of these small stuart bowls nicely but simply cut and very thin glass. They are both etched Stuart England on the bottoms. At 8cms diameter and 3cms tall they seem too large for salts and too small for finger bowls.

No retreat, No surrender.

Would they have been part of a set?

If you haven't found it yet a good one to look at is

http://www.discontinueddesigns.co.uk/product.aspx?productid=490

It gives you about 20 pics on a page so you might be lucky & get the pattern
