Topic: Any information about this bowl would be appreciated

This is one of my favourite pieces.  It is 40cm wide and 20cm high and weighs ... a lot 
If anyone has any ideas of where and who made it, they would be appreciated very much.
I bought it a few years ago from someone who had it as an unwanted present

Or a glass for 5 people  :huh: looks like a studio piece, might be worth trying to find who gave the gift and asking them.
