Well Dirk, I doubt you would want to see all of my glass collection, it runs into hundreds :o.....I have been a collectaholic for years.
I think you mean the ones I have just mentioned!
I don't know if they are uranium.....what do I have to do to find out? I havent got a black light thingy that people boast about having, I just collect what I like the look of, mainly Art Deco and Art Nouveau, mainly green glass, and mainly just about anything I see in that category that I can afford.....that is except the Butterfly dish, which I took out a small mortgage for!!
I will do pics tomorrow, and see if I can list them directly onto this board, otherwise, can I ask Anne for her help again??

You're absolutely right, that would indeed be a bit much here.
I'm rather new to collecting glass and therefore often astonished
about the quantity of other's collections...  :o ...I'm far from that!

If you don't have a blacklight, you can also try with a blue LED.
It will work on green uranium glass as well.

We'd love to see your pictures but put them on a new thread it makes archiving easier, and threads less confusing when we've all forgotten what we were talking about.

BTW uranium is my thing too  ;D

A blue LED will only work on uranium if it's a UV LED

Rosie,  your pattern is shown in the book Household Glassware in Australia 1880-1980 (by Kevin & Margaret Conway) as being Squared Eye by Crown Crystal of Australia, but I'm sure Cathy B (who researches this company) will be able to tell you if this has been proved or disproved. (The book does have some dubious attributions so need to be checked with other sources before being accepted.)

Edited to add: we have a topic discussing this pattern here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,19981.0.html

Cathy does talk about the Crown Crystal variant in the linked thread but more important to stuff found in the UK is

marked checoslovaquia!
is what Pamela says in that thread, as I'm not sure much glass came back from the "Colonies"

Let me guess Rosie, was the vase with the stippling/frit surface one of those you bought from Australia?  ;D

Amazingly, Cathy, I bought this from a lady in Hampshire, not too far from where I live!!
It is lovely, and would like more of the stippled effect pieces.
I was bidding for a large bowl in the stippled pattern a little while ago, but it was withdrawn from sale overnight.......I 'logged on' in the morning and it was gone!  It took me a week to get over that!
