--- Quote ---Max - master sleuth - could be right, looks like my cloak of mystery is being torn apart darn it...felt like being a little ethereal ( E word again) for the time being, but I'll come clean, it's Emmi, pain in the butt on the Whitefriars site!!!

Nice to meet you Emmi.  :)  I recognised your glass, and the friendly way about you.   :D

Max aka Gina off WF.com

Welcome Emmi from another (occasional) WF member!  :)

David E:
Just having a 'knobbly' thought, but Max's 'knobbles' seem to be in two rings around the vase, Emmi's appear to spiral around, whereas mine look totally random. Not sure if this is relevant?

vidrioguapo:
Good morning all...have been looking around the web and seeing various glass vases similar to all those above - yours and mine - and getting a strong feeling these may all be Canadian - I might be barking up the wrong tree!!! but a lot of the shapes and colours are very similar.
Chalet glass, Alta glass, Lorraine 1 glass etc.  All these companies it seems had an Italian immigrant ( ex-murano?) workforce which explains some of the forms and shapes etc....so may be worthwhile to explore this further. Hope I'm not sending you out on a wild goose chase!  Emmi
