Blue Decanter mystery

This decanter came with 6 glasses.  It was a wedding present for my inlaws around the 1950's.  There are no marks that I can see on it.  The colour starts off a deep amber and flows into a blue with a wooden stopper.  Someone a few years ago told me who had made the decanter but I didn't write it down.

Does anyone know the identification of this decanter please?
