Baked_Beans:
Thanks for the link to photos of you and your work Barry ....love it !
My lipstick vase is the exact same vase as shown in your photo ;D
It's just that the your photograph has been printed from the wrong side of the negative :)

I recently contacted the publishers of 'Techniques of Glass Engraving' (second edition) by Peter Dreiser & Jonathan Matcham, 2006, ISBN 10 07136 75160 , ISBN 13 978 0713675160, A & C Black (Publishing) Limited / Bloomsbury Publishing . They very kindly gave me permission to take a photo of a photograph printed in the book on page 93 and publish it here on Glassmessages.com . The photo is of 'Acid Rain' engraved by Peter Dreiser, 1986 , 20cm high vase. The original photo in the book was taken by Peter Dreiser himself. For any further publication of this photo you would need to ask the permission of Bloomsbury Publishing here......

As 'Acid Rain' is clearly related to 'The Price of Oil' and it has been quoted above (by me!), I thought it would be a good idea to show it here. As far as I know it's the only image of this vase on the internet (but I could be wrong here).
At the base there are the skeletal remains of fish .

Baked_Beans:
Isn't it just ! I'd like to thank Bloomsbury Publishing for letting me do it :D
chopin-liszt:
