1960's Glasses
« on: October 30, 2008, 05:54:11 PM »
Again from my childhood - and my parent using these (Gee - my parents like to have a few...lol).  I was cleaning in my china cabinet and was just curious if anyone knew anything about these.  I only have 2 and one if a bit more stubbier than the other....Was there a pattern name?  Any info welcome.  Just filling in the blanks from my childhood...lol.
TIA

I don't know about the glasses per se, but the pattern looks quite 50s to me rather than 60s?  I've lots of pottery from the 50s with similar styles, and also fabrics

These might be Libbey Glass, they made tons of decorated barware and assorted glasses.

Hi Chloe and Deco.queen -

you could be right, as I am 1960's model myself ;D and they could have been around before me...but I do know they are old -- maybe 50's.  Not sure of date, maker, design, or pattern. Thxs
