Oh dear don't seem to be doing very well at the moment.  Lets try this one, I bought this today for £1.50, tell me its correct, it stands 7" (18 cm) high.

Something's dingling that this might be Riihimaki, but Della would most likely know for sure.

thats what I was hoping it was, I have seen one in 20th Century Glass book in green that looks similar.

I have one in ruby and it was attributed to riihimaki in one of the Millers books.

I've had zillions (ok a few!) Riihimaki lantern type vases - I've not had one this *exact* shape but it looks fine to me and the colour is definitely right so I'd agree with everyone that it's Finnish and probably dating from the 1970s.
