Hello Leni.
O.K.: I am 61 years old.
Me eyes are not as good as before,
but I can see similar structures and similar forms and so on.
Please excuse me, I can not find, that one of the canes of your 3 paperweights are similar
to the canes of my item.
For me the are differnet.
Sorry.

As a glassblower I have to agree.  The technique in the two canes is quite different, even though the end appearance is very similar.

That green and white weight is a stunner. Very beautiful!

I have quite a few Murano weights with zig zag canes. Tomorrow I will put up close-ups of them when I have good light for taking pictures.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.

Here's some of my 'zigzag' cane pictures. Pictures 1-3 are fairly new pieces. I think they're Fratelli Toso but they feel different from the stuf I know is FT. The fourth picture is a Seguso.

I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.

Sorry for the multiposts. I wanted to get all the pictures in.

The second picture is Fratelli Toso. The others are mystery Murano pieces. I have a lot of Murano glass and did not include all of them. :D

The last photo shows red and green canes similar but not identical to the ones in Lothar's piece.

None of the zigzags are identical matches but they're pretty close which is why my first impression on the pendant was Murano.

Hello glasstrufflehunter!
It was very kind of you, to send all the pictures.
Many thanks!!!!!!!!! :hiclp:
For me it will be more and more evident, that the
canes are probably Murano.
Regards

The enigma for me seemed to be resolved now, because 3 experts are saying: MURANO!
:hiclp: Bravo:glasstrufflehunter.
 :hiclp: Bravo:derek.
:hiclp:And: I can`t believe it, but I have asked Kerstin Stammwitz ( a wellknown paperweight dealer in germany).
She says also : It is 99,99% MURANO!!!

er....shouldn't that be 4 experts?
:hiclp: Bravo:Leni
