Important Request: Contacting Glass Restorers
« on: December 02, 2008, 03:37:44 PM »
Could members with any kind of personal or professional contact with any UK-based glass restorers contact me directly please?

It's a very important issue regarding the future of a large design collection that I can't really discuss on the board just yet.

Many thanks for your help.

Just to clear up any confusion - I'm wishing to pass important information on to glass restorers about unwanted trade that might be coming their way, rather than me wishing to engage their services.

Moderators should know what this thread is referring to - see recently removed threads. Could it temporarily be made a sticky to gain maximum attention?

Nic, Mods are aware of the reasons as you say, and will no doubt support your action. You will find some of the restorers in Glass Archives topics I think, and the World Art Glass site has a professional services page listing some more here:
http://www.worldartglass.com/index.asp?mc=91

Re stickying the topic, we do find that stickies tend to get overlooked by members up at the top of the page, so bumping it up might work better for this for a few days?
