It is a type of glass the Italians call pulegoso. It is fairly common in mid-century Murano and Czech pieces. I don't recognize your vase, unfortunately. The sheen reminds me of some of the Beranek (Czech) pieces I've seen.

This type of glass is extensively made in Egypt for the tourist industry. It is quite uneven and very light, normally it has a broken pontil but variations occur. There is a limited range of colours: brown, dark blue, green and white with a brown rim are the most frequent.  Some similar items are also made in Morocco.

Hi,
Given your location, Beranek has to be favourite, particularly in this colour-way, for which the company is well-documented. If early, then possibly a design by Emanuel Beranek or Lichtagova? (Sorry I do not have the AKA exhibition catalogue from MGB to hand) However certain pieces were reproduced from the 1990s onwards and appear in later Beranek catalogues.
