wheel engraved item
« on: January 27, 2009, 08:13:15 AM »
This is a small 7 cm/ 2.3/4" goblet with incredibly intricate copper wheel engraving of a flower basket, with scrolls and wavy lines and tiny olives arund the edges.  The glass is clear and very seedy, and many of the seeds have burst - but only on the inside. The outside is smooth. It must have been blown in a mould: there is a high kick-up but there is no pontil mark there: it is rounded and smooth. There are also no signs of wear to the stand ring.

So where do I begin to look?
