Help please with identifying a large multicoloured vase

Fifth time lucky with this post

I don't hold out much hope with this piece, but I'm clearing out space through selling bits on Ebay and it would be good to suggest an attribution.

It's about 15 inch tall.
The multicoloured swirls (I bought it at a car boot sale some years ago because it looks so like the old marbles I used to play as a kid !) are thinly cased in clear and then there's a matt acid effect on top.

There's a pontil mark on the base, but no grinding and not signed.

Any thoughts gratefully received.
