well the news is this...it is the genuine thing ...had it looked at by an expert...so i am rather delighted...and yes well in t mes like this one would be tempted with the higher offer from Anne.............huge smile.

thank u for all the advice and as i said i would come back when ive had it checked by an expert...hence
1.It is a high fire polished piece....he says rare.
2.Size ok
3.subject...common
4.shape.....un recorded(he has never seen this shape)
5.signature......correct
6.base tell tale sign
7. as u said i would be pleasantly surprised.....good value
rather thrilled with it all and have learnt a lot...many thanks to the glass board members.

i will live with it for awhile....to get the feel of it and want to visit some shops which hold stocks so that i can see the difference...before i sell it

yes he did....somewhere in the thousands he estimates....in no hurry to sell right now...i want to live with it for a few more weeks...as i am still learning about glass....my speciallity is porcelain and pottery.
