Zanetti Horse head ?
« on: March 24, 2009, 05:11:30 PM »
I have an awesome horse head that looks like a Zaneti piece of Italian glass, but he is not signed. Was any of Zaneti's work unsigned?
If not Murano, anyone know who made it. TIA :)

I do not think it is a Licio Zanetti sculpture. The horse heads I have seen by him look different and are signed. Many Murano and other artists made horse heads, so it may be hard to track down. Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Rather than post the same question on different forums, just ask for it to be moved over by a Moderator. Thanks.

Shapewise he looks like the Vincenzo Nason horse on the January page of the 2008 GMB calendar, see here http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-4722

this my horse, I've got as far as either Campenella or Nason for the possible attribution.

Don't know if this helps, but I thought I'd show another example.
