Topic: Sklo Union (look alike)...with printed roundel in gold

this one says Kobenhavns-Krendsen
the printed mark underneath ...weidingers glassmalerie and telephone number
i had to post this as when i first saw it....i thought sklo union....interesting
any ideas who copied whom.

I would have said it was more likely a special order, rather than a copy, for a Danish company/event/place

I agree with Christine.
SU factories made commemorative and publicity items to order.
So did Kastrup & Holmegaard, but Czech glass was probably quite a lot less expensive

Thanks for the comments and i had thought perhaps decorated as a commemerative....but better to make sure i guess.

Glasmalerie is a refinery, so no-one copied nothing. The item is Vizner made at Hermanova Hut after 1962 as Jindrich pointed out earlier this week. You should try and read postings here. It is most rewarding and in no time at all you can provide answers yourself!

thanks Ivo....i was the first one to thank on that posting.(if u care to look)...i was just not sure whether this was a copy...as with so much...or that some outside decoration...or what has been said ...for a special occasion.
I do take a good look at most postings as i am still very green!!!
