Added:  Could it, or might it be a Sugar Bowl (lidded) as I have seen sugar bowls without handles too.  So just wondering IF that could be a possibility too..................if not, I can go bury My head  :spls: ;)

I added something while you were typing.  Is that Possible??

The later pics are suffering from the light in use when they were taken, but they show the shape and pattern better. It's a gorgeous strong bright blue throughout.

Ok, but I just thought when the light source was different, those type of glass thing DO change color.  Have you tried photos again in different light sources at all -- just to reconfirm this.  Worth a try (maybe) as maybe was not your Camera, as sometimes the camera sees more than the eye......

Sugar bowl is entirely possible too Rose.   Size-wise it's the same as many of the powder bowls I have, and the person I bought it from thought she remembered it being the last bit remaining from a set, but who knows?  :usd:

I've tried it under different lights too yep, and no change at all except in these pics which is more to do with the light used being reflected off a nearby pink pottery vase lamp cos I didn't have anywhere safe to move that to when doing the pics. :sun:

yeah, who knows.  We all know about marriages in glass, or the seller (if an unknown seller) who might have said any story for it, or she/he could have just been wrong from wherever she got her story from.  Lol.  Just wondering if it could be a sugar bowl, that is all, as I had seen some that look that way with no handles (??)

You know me, I always am looking for what I do Not see......................Must be my *Scorpio* Investigative Nature (Birth Sign)
