This is 35 cms tall, and I have seen many of these around and about but I have no idea from where they originate.  Can anyone help please?

base is difficult to picture, but it is not flat nor bird bath style, slightly concave and smooth.

Pip:
The crimped effect to the top of your vase reminds me of some Ingridglas items I've had in the past.  I'm not suggesting that's what your vase is but it might be a starting point for some further investigation.

Thanks, I'll look into that.  Emmi

I have just come across this on a website, and although it is shorter than mine, looks VERY similar.............can anyone Marcus or Jindra perhaps, confirm if it is right as Vaclav Hanus

Sklounion:
Hi Emmi,
Very unlikely, that this is Hanus, or Jablonecke Sklarny, Ingridglas or Oberglas is more likely. Jindrich?
Though I know the site in question, and the owner, who really does make an effort on his research,  the site still has had several doubtful attributions.
And yes, he  really has a Czech brother-in-law... :)
