Hi,

The stopper is consistant with ones made and used by Sandvik, Orresfors. I believe that the pattern for the stopper was originally designed by Simon Gate and used in a table suite in 1923.

However, I've checked the Prestel book of Swedish catalogues and cannot find a match for the body - which, had I found it out and about without the stopper, I would have considered Webb as the possible origin.

Nigel

PS. Trust me to confuse the issue
