Topic: Confusion about 3 ebay pieces I am interested in ??

The 2nd and 3rd vases are pala by Helena Tynell, the 1st one isnt.  The top on the 1st one is round which was not a Helena Tynell design.  So bid on the 2nd and 3rd vases.   I have the 3rd one in Emerald, small but nice.

Christine- you have a very nice collection, lovely photos too.  However, I am beginning to have second thoughts as I didn't realise just how small the smallest is- guess I would need a few.....

TWAVE- Your album is gorgeous, especially no 102 and I adore 107.  No idea what they are called but I do now they are very rare!!

107 Is Helena Tynell's "Maljakko" (Vase) Riihimäen Lasi Oy, don't know the production years.
102 are Pala's 7 cm high.

Pala's are not that rare in Finland

Thankyou for the info- I love H Tynells glass.  If its not too rude a question how much could I expect to pay for a MALJAKKO?

Another member pointed me in the direction of a great Finnish site:- www.laatutavara.com where they have one in a gallery but I don't think its for sale.

Oh and the "Dartington Inkwell" listing which ends shortly has gone up to more than I am happy to pay with a steep postage fee too.  BUT I now know what I am looking for!! PALA's can now be identified with confidence!
