Small stripey bowl diamond pattern polished pontil
« on: May 28, 2009, 10:38:09 AM »
I picked this up at the weekend, bought it because of the unusual pinky red colour,
and the quality.
a red stripe in the glass, very evenly done, a diamond pattern on outside, i presume mould blown,
and a polished pontil. 4 inches wide.
Cheers
Andy

Hello,

No not Victorian, but 1930's, possibly into the '50's (as a continuum from before the war - rather like their Rainbow Ware). I've not seen black trailing with the diamond moulding.

Nigel
