Ive had this lurking about being moved from one place to the next for about 5 years now, think it may be scandinavian but dont know cant seem to pin it down to anything or anyone. white on the inside then a yellow colour then cased (thickly at the base) in clear glass, clear glass "ears". polished base although not high gloss polished. just over 16cms tall, 8.5cms in diameter at the top and weighs 640g quite heavy for size.

Not Scandinavian, their items aren't usually base finished so as to require pontil mark removal. Perhaps China or Eastern Europe

I think Christine's right - the colour, rim and base finish point to something from the Far East and fairly modern IMO.
