The Iris piece 11283 is definitely the same vase is a different color glass...... It is definitely a Barolac piece.....

Tulips... Iris's... .. I guess I need a flower identification board also...... I thought they were Tulips also.....

Hi,

Barolac is a mark, which, apparently, was jointly used, and owned, by Josef Inwald and John Jenkins & Sons Ltd. All this information is available in Marcus Newhall's book, in collaboration with Glen Thistlewood, who have worked very hard to enlighten us about this area of Czech glass making.

Hi,
"Barolac" as correctly Della said is not company but trade mark of special type of pressed glass production - always opalescent. It had been produced befor WWII in Czechoslovakia, later moulds had been used in Sklo Union factories. This is not "Barolac" piece but piece produced with ussage of same or simmilar mould. Colour does not correspond to Czechoslovakian production, as far as I know. Let we wait for Marcus' decision.
