Some more smokey glasses..
« on: June 06, 2009, 04:15:51 PM »
I picked up this set of which the tallest is about 15 cms tall.

I thought I'd seen the design before, but if that was true I sure can't find it again!

Can anyone point me in a direction to check?

Holmegaard 'Canada' series, designed 1955 by Per Lütken. Produced 1955 - 1990, and then briefly between 2007-2008.

In descending order of size: Beer Glass, Port, Snapse.

I don't drink any more..... which is a good thing....  but the mention of a Port glass makes me miss drinking Vintage Port by the bottle in Portugal on vacation......

Sorry, the mention of port distracted me... I so loved it... that and really really really dark beer to put in the first glass   ;D
I have been told that glass is my mistress......

In those days the glass was never really important to me.... Only the flavor of the beer.  If I had to, I would have drank it out of a thimble.....  >:D
