Lamp base - ID = STRATHEARN

This lamp base was sold to me as being "Murano" but I have doubts.  My OH says 'Chinese', and I'm beginning to wonder ::).  What does anyone think please?  It has a smattering of gold foil.  It doesn't appear to be newish as there is wear on the base, and I was informed that the wiring had been recently renewed.  Can't help thinking TKMax...
Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Anne's lamp has been ID'd elsewhere by a collector as Strathearn  8)

Not very Strathearn to me but they did do some out of character pieces... so not impossible, just unlikely.
