Topic: etched water carrafe signed raymond hoskins 89

hi there
i picked up this carrafe about 5 years and have had it packed away as ive never been able to find anything out about it.
Its a crystal water carrafe, with an etched  heron with reeds around the lower part, its actually really well done
The base is signed Raymond Hoskins 89
Has anybody heard of this name before or do you think it was just somebody who tought thereselves to etch and did it as a hobby??
The carrafe stands at 24cms tall, 11cms in diameter.
