Hi, all.  Though you might enjoy seeing some pics of a 4-pc. Table Set that I recently acquired at a local auction.

The pattern name is (hold on to your hats) Monkey.  Non-flint.  Traditionally attributed to George Duncan & Sons, Pittsburgh, PA, c. 1880's.

Pattern details are fantastic!

The 4-pc. Table Set is composed of the Creamer, Covered Sugar, Spooner and Covered Butter Dish. No, I won't use them (would be scared to death). They will be displayed on an open shelf in my "glass room".

I bet the range would look even more splendid in a classy Carnival glass, Glen.

It reminds me of a rare perfect Sowerby pattern #1125 (late 1875–early 1876) covered pedestal sugar I had with two monkey handles and a similar monkey handle on the lid;  sadly smashed to smithereens with all my other glass as a result of my road accident years ago.   I've never seen another, nor have I seen a matching creamer.   See Cottle p31 for the uncovered sugar trade catalogue illustration.
