I searched the board and label thread...but no luck...
Can anyone help ID maker of this 2 1/2" Paperweight...Clear label..Made in Italy and marked  with TMC  --see photo..T is over M and C under M...
Polished bottom..Clear dome..very close packed canes

The logo TMC stands for "The Museum Company".  It was a chain of 99 stores found in many malls in the US and Canada that offered reproductions of objects found in large museums plus some decorative objects (like paperweights).  The paperweight was made on the island of Murano, but I don't know the specific maker.

TMC went into bankruptcy in 2002 and I don't know if they ever recovered.  You can read about them at the link below:
