attempt to identify factory for coloured blown pieces
« on: August 13, 2009, 11:30:34 AM »
I have sought permission from ebay sellers to reproduce these images on GMB, also one from a GMB member (thanks Launghaugh!). Basically these pieces seem hot worked in a design style similar to some Czech output, but I have not seen a named factory attributed, though these are sold as murano in typical fashion. With several pieces together, would any members have possibly seen one of these with a label? I am just presuming they are related by virtue of style. These examples have generally been bought from Australia or German ebay. (Thanks Jindrich for translation help). I have no idea of their origin beyond suspecting European and thought it might be nice just to try to define their origin for the community by this method of enquiry, as . Any thoughts from the ether?
