Blue Milk Glass Salt, Bird, Tree & Nest
« on: August 15, 2009, 11:12:43 PM »
I've shown this around a couple of very good US boards & have had feedback from milk glass & salt collector organizations that its probably French, German, etc. Its 6" in length, 5" height & base is 2 1/8" width, slightly beat up, but not horrible. It did come from an old household full (and I mean full) of china, porcelain, etc, from predominately Europe, England, Bohemian, French, etc. Any info or leads are appreciated. Thanks, Ken

Thanks to Siegmar Geiselberger this has been identified by French collector Marc Christoph as shown in the 1886 catalog of Bayel & Clairey. Ken
