Their output quantity, quality  and variety was amazing.....  and much of it has never really been documented until now.  Alfredo is contributing greatly to the knowledge base and accumulation of information about Kralik's shapes, decors etc....  but it seems the more we learn, the more we realize we do not know about what all they did....

I had an opaline vase shaped like your, Craig, but without the spatter. Mine had the semi-circular Czechoslovakia mark on bottom. Does yours have the mark, Craig?

I have a Rindskopf piece in a VERY similar shape - see the bottom right of this page:

I think this one is Kralik, not Rindskopf, but the similarity is interesting.

Anita, My piece does not have a mark on it.... It is actually quite small.  Kralik made a super wide variety of opalescent glass....

Warren,  Although they are different houses, there is a striking similarity to the forms.   My instinct is that the Rindskopf piece is larger, but that may be completely wrong....  How tall is the Rindskopf?

Keith,  I am curious as to the dimensions of your vase?
By the way....  I really like the vase...  I love opalescent glass in almost any color.

There was a working relationship between Kralik and Rindskopf, wasn't there? Or am I remembering wrong? I'll have to search to see what the relationship was.

Craig, I think the Rindskopf is about 7.5 to 8.5 inches tall... no bigger than that.
