Loetz style Bohemian vase, green
« on: August 29, 2009, 11:30:49 AM »
Hello everyone, I hope you can help with this vase (one of a pair). They were advertised at the auction I  bought them as Loetz, but I really don't think so...

Does anyone recognise the pattern/shape?  Or are they (as I suspect, and so paid accordingly) just an Edwardian copy by nobody in particular?

Thanks for any light you can cast.
Thank you very much!

Hi Keith, I;ve been through Loetz.com and all the Verre d'Art pages at http://home.earthlink.net/~verredart1/glass/ and I can't find anything similar, so I am relying on the experts here to advise me.

Thank you very much!

I had a small vase with this type decor. I was told that it was probably Kralik.

thanks Anita, that is the option I think.

I am more concerned that it is a modern copy than anything...
Thank you very much!

It appears to me to be a Kralik variation of Creta Rusticana.
