Sharron,
many thanks for your nice offer, but I think I´ll wait for one of these
to pop up around here. I really buy them just as a ´filler´ and shipping
costs from the UK would be higher than I value them. I´ve seen them
here sometimes, but obviously my rucksack was already full then.
Nevertheless it´s a really nice offer!  :)

Hi Dirk,

Guess you're right about shipping costs.... No doubt I too will spot them regularly from now on - a bit like buses all coming at once? Have decided it makes a very nice paperweight.

Sharron x

;D at Michelle for collecting the same title!   There's always a market for duplicates though Michelle as they are now out of print. ;)

At least you can see what the book looks like Michelle ::) 8) ;)

PS. The url address is where I've had to build the new site. Still in the process, and sorting out pointing the old url to the new, etc. My brain hurts, it's certainly not my forte :spls:

Sorry Nigel :kissy: we are being very naughty here.  :-[  I love your little book and have added it to our Books forum here, along with the companion volumes on other eras, despite them being out of print as they are so useful.

Hi Nigel,

Have browsed your site and now in favs. What can I possibly say- such a wealth of info!! I do have Antique Explorer and am about to settle down to re-read your article about "50 years of British glass".

PS thanks for the advance congrats for my impending "star letter" to "Collect it" mag- think I need to fess up in advance- it was ONLY a helpful letter for a reader who was trying to identify a 1960's panda bear, which they have lost. Their only picture showed the back of the bear, but I recognised it immediately as my own much loved childhood bear. I promptly took some photos, contacted the mag and I am then told I will be receiving a "Millers" prize. Don't want to sound ungrateful but I really hope it won't be a book on bears or dolls!!! ::)

Sharron
