Amber pot - Is it a Salt
« on: September 13, 2009, 08:05:13 AM »
Hello I have this amber pot quite a prettily decorated thing with plenty of detailed pattern and scalloped edging.  The base is sunburst.  Is it a salt and could anyone id it please.

Thank you

Margi

Hard to tell without dimensions. IMHO, I would say it was too deep for a salt. (Or at least the salts we had in my childhood home).

It looks a bit like an ice bucket -- hard to say without the dimensions.
