Queens Burmese expert required,

Marked Queens Burmese patented,Thomas Webb and son,Rd,80187.Looked in Hajdamach's book but no mention of an oak leaf and acorn pattern,only on lilac burmese,the piece has wear and is smooth,not grainy to touch,am now flumaxed,help please,Keith.

Ok I am gonna have a bash through googling found a very similar item designed by Jules Barbe but with different rd number and colour a brighter pink. Jules Barbe designed acorn and oak leaves.

Not quite sure what you are flummoxed about. I think the number is 80167, which is the registered design number of the rim crimp. The acorn is one of the less common designs, although not rare. I doubt either of us could afford this one I don't know if this is a Barbe design though
