Painting on Glass - technique = crystoleum

I am hoping that someone can give me some more information about the pieces in these pictures. They look like paintings on glass and would have been done in New Zealand on the late 1800's. Thanks.

Hi there,

Think you may find they are called "crystoleums". My partner inherited two, took them off to auction, turned out the frames were worth more than the pic but we value them more than the estimate- so they are on a wall!
