Pressed glass Deco fruit bowl beautiful design!
« on: September 23, 2009, 09:26:57 AM »
Good morning to all!
I have just bought this lovely Deco part frosted blue glass fruit bowl.It is quite large with a thick plinth and stem and the main bowl has a lovely decoration of stylised fruit, flowers and foliage. The stem and base has fruit and a typical geometric Deco design. The work on it is really professional.
Now I did see the same bowl in August at a fair in a very vivid green and loved it but the price was a little high for me so I declined but I did think at the time it was a green colour that was familiar to me with Reich pieces.
I wondered if this was made by S.Reich at all?
Any contributions to this post would be greatly received!
Many thanks! Nige

Don't know but Mueller might be worth considering looking at that quality of moulding

Thanks for the extra suggestion! Does anyone have any old Mueller or S.Reich catalogue pages from the 30s?
