Chance glass lampshade swirl pattern ?

Came across this the other day reminded me of the swirl pattern by Chance. But being a lampshade it threw me a bit any info would be much appreciated thanks in anticipation yours Mark
measurements 13 1/4" diameter, 3 1/2" high, 2" opening

No, Chance Bros. was never known to make light shades at all. The company experimented with an inverted 7-in handkerchief vase, with a hole drilled in the centre, but these were never marketed.

It could be French! I have a similar shape I bought on ebay, in etch and ruby which I believe to be French 1930's, but no idea which factory, there were many small ones that sunk without a trace!
