Bernard means the last two digits of the pattern number give you the launch date of the first items in the range, i.e. that would be 1933, not 1333 ...
Anne — yes, but better than that. 1333 translates to 1/3/33, i.e. March 1, 1933. The
Wyndham trinket set gives us the date of a second round of
Wyndham patterns, as it was design registration No. 790482 of February 20, 1934. The rare wall pocket may have been a later round, as it was advertised twice in the
Pottery Gazette in 1937.
