very utility looking bowl
« on: October 31, 2009, 08:21:28 PM »
Reminded me of the Hollophane type of mesh pattern  -  so wondered whether it might actually have anything to do with Davidson.   Cheap and very utility looking, but this reticulated pattern I couldn't recall seeing before on bowls.  About 24 cms. in diameter, and it does have a little wear which could take it back to the fifties or sixties, I suppose.  I suspect another item which will go back to the charity shop, if it turns out to be anonymous  -  but any ideas very welcome.   cheers   Paul S.
