Topic: MOSER? ENGRAVED/GILDED VASELINE GLASS CREAMER

I just got this little gem in the mail today (from England).   It screams 'Moser' to me, but is unmarked in regards to a maker.   Yes, it glows like crazy.   The creamer is 3 3/8" tall.   the bottom surface is a concave polished pontil the entire width of the base.   The gold gilding is put on after it was engraved (there is depth to each gold area).   the bottom panels that look like honeycomb are stained on the outside, so it blocks some of the UV from the outside.   It glows on those panels on the inside when a blacklight is shined down into the piece.   The HONEYCOMB pattern is on all 4 sides.   the honeycomb makes a 'dip' on the side where the base of the handle is attached. The inset shows one of two dolphin figures that are engraved into the piece.You can see the dolphin on the right side of the picture, just a little distance from where the handle attaches at the top. There are also roses, fern branches, filigree, and a quilting pattern.  MOSER?  If YES, any idea of a time period when it was made?  I seldom find uranium/glowing Moser, as a lot of the green glass they made does not seem to glow.

Hi Dave,
a lovely jug, the honeycomb shape is very interesting, it made me wonder whether it
is a jug for Mead ? (made from honey) a very popular drink for centuries, i think mainly European.

Andy:  the honeycomb pattern could possibly suggest that....but the jug is the size of a baby creamer.  It only holds about 3 oz. of fluid (1/3rd cup).  Possibly a creamer for a demitasse set?
