Chunky Mdina

keith:
Old school or new?loads of wear on the back, marked Mdina,Keith.

malwodyn:
Odd - but certainly Mdina colours.  I'd say earlier rather than later.

glassobsessed:
A photo of the signature may help with a rough date.

John

Sorry, just spotted it.

My guess would be 1980's, that signature with the looping M and nice round a is quite familiar.

glassobsessed:
Just remembered there is an example in Mark Hill's book (top of page 132), I reckon this one is by the same hand. He states "a typical Mdina signature used from 1968 into the 1970s...". Ron Wheeler (Artius glass) knows more about the signatures used, sometimes who did the signing at the factory and roughly when.

I may well have been wrong with my earlier guess...

John

keith:
Thanks John, just noticed I put the sig' upside down,ta,Keith.
