I'd be very surprised if this were Kosta, but then life is full of.... It looks like something quite modern to me, Czech?  Polish? Was there a reason you thought perhaps Kosta. i.e. something I've missed?

PS Just looked at the picture in the first post you did. It looks like a very interesting piece, but I can't really figure out what the pictures show. It's not like any 60's Scandinavian pieces I've seen.

It certainly is a strange and wondrous thing, I have seen anything quite like it. It looks more like a sculpture than a vase  :-\
I don't believe it is Kosta Boda,although the 3 sided shape is vaguely reminiscent to Göran Wärff's obelisk sculpture:

I brought this some five years ago from a bootsale where the seller had on their table nothing but quality glass mainly Scandinavian, and Swedish I know because I brought a few bits of Kosta along with this piece. This piece is of such high quality something you cannot see in the pictures without actually handling it! Ok maybe it isn't Kosta but it is certainly something very special?

I certainly wouldn't be able to resist it at a bootsale of anywhere else for that matter. It's a fascinating piece to research. Because it's so unfamiliar, and, as you say, you can't see the quality in the pictures, it's difficult to know what to suggest. Does it have an opening down the middle? Which leads me to wonder how it was made. Blown and cut or slumped and polished? The other possibility I would have said is studio glass but I would expect a signature on that, just like it most likely would if it were quality Scandinavian. I'd be looking at Czech first.

Aine: I'm envious of how you casually slip in a picture of a Warff obelisk, and very nice it is, too.
